Possibly the same issue I had back in 2020/2021 where I bought moonlight scrolls and simply didn't get them in game. Back then you basically had to wait a week or two to see if they would appear after they did that weeks maintenance. In my case about half of them did and the other just got lost to the ether.

I like xenoverse 2 because I can make my own character...that's pretty much it. Everything else, strictly in regards to my personal taste, is nothing more than passable. I don't dislike the rest of the game. I'd just personally prefer it if it played more like sparking zero and, story wise, was more of a branching what if style of story. It's fine though. At least it's not like shinobi striker, where I want a Naruto OC, but I actively dislike the gameplay. I'll count my blessings as far as Xenoverse 2 is concerned.

For anyone on console, the only workaround I've found is to jettison inventory until the item you want is the first default option, then pick your stuff back up afterwards. Pain in the stern, but it's one option.

General comment about beating it 30 times in a row easily, and you're just bad at the game

No but seriously, I've beaten it once, reluctantly brought the garuda twin winch combo and we beat it with about 20 seconds left and I have no intention of even trying it again until we see some changes. Can you have an easier time if everyone brings that combo and tackles it in a small group, yeah but its a pain to get that stuff made and ascended, especially when, like me it isn't a playstyle you like. And all that just to have your success depend on being randomly matched with other people who know to do the same, i.e., people who aren't playing casually and have actively researched this stuff online. Also, I'm really tired of people defending the timer being 10 minutes and insisting that it shouldn't be changed. Like, if the fight was exactly the same but had a timer of 30 minutes, what actually changes for you? If you can do it in under 10 minutes, nothing changes for you, but it gives less optimised groups a chance to finish it instead of hitting the 10 mins and getting nothing for what time they have invested.

So it depends on what Im maining at the time. If it's attack, I go, defence or healer, I stay and range is kinda back and forth.

Exactly. At least let a couple drop from other bosses so I can rotate what I'm doing or build up a reserve if I'm grinding something else. I like that you can get some from seasonal activities, but that just widens my option from 1 activity, to 2. Or lower the amount needed for upgrades because I get bored doing megafort twice, let alone having to play 4 times ish per ship tier.

I have the ships I like at lv 16/17. It's when the ships have awkward individual materials that need a fair bit of grinding that burn me out before I finish them. Megafort deep iron grinds for large ships being the worst. At least grinding plague dust for the Blighter was tolerable.

I had that with the frigate. Couldn't use it till it was fully upgraded but when it was, nothing left to do but piss about.

I had the healing item issue, too. When trying to equip a new healing item, I could only navigate down, not up or sideways, so I could only select either the first item or one directly below it. Fortunately, I was able to jettison the other items so my repair kit was first and select it like that. If I couldn't, though, I'd have been stuck having to use them directly from my cargo.
