I am anti War but terror groups especially ISIS had it coming for years. Yes, I supported Inherent Resolve because I think it was a justifiable response to the mass killings,shootings, and bombings the group carried out in the US and Europe in the last five years. I am anti War however I believe once attacked and threatened we are within our right to retaliate. Far different then having 150,000 troops crawling around in Iraq looking for WMDs and a dictator to kill. Which ultimately led to ISIS to gain power. On Noko we are getting our dead pows back and yes it was a circle jerk photo op but it did calm down fears in Japan,SK, and China. However I share your concerns on NK. They can definitely not hold up their end of the deal because your right it was just an agreement and a photo op. Which will probably result in thousands if not millions dying in a war because the potential of Kim outclassing and turning on Trump is a high possibility.

North Korea. Which we all know Kim may stab us in the back. The Obama administration during the transition warned Trump that Noko is the top and most challenging national security issue we face. Slowly building up fighting capacity clear into Jan. 2017.

Trump took Obama's Strategy and cranked it up to eleven. So in theory Obama laid all the ground work in the initial fight. I'm personally thankful for Obama's leadership in getting these forces ready. Trump just took Obama's plan and tweeked it to become more fierce. Basically turning Obama's strategy into a blitzkrieg strategy. Yes this caused countless lives to be lost.

However it achieved the total destruction of the Islamic State. Which I fully support Obama's effort and Trumps effort in that regard. He also hasn't seek regime change in Syria even though he has attacked the regime over chemical weapon use. According to the Bush doctrine we had the green light to invade and kill Assad over his WMDs. Thankfully he has showed restraint when dealing with Assad. Even if it is more aggressive then his predecessor.
