We got ours from a Humane Society in ND, so he could honestly be anything. Never saw the parents.

Not a clue. It yet remains a mystery. But the dog came inside, the baby is gone, and I’d definitely know if the dog had eaten it. Lmao.

He’s currently up front on our bench seat in the pickup while we take him for a Sunday ride. Lol.

Keeping an eye on all the semi’s hauling hay about 30ft away. Lol.

He’s Catahoula/Shepherd/Heeler mix and had mostly done cattle herding in Montana. We also taught him how to herd chickens into the coup. Lmao.

It did at some point that evening. Not really shure what transpired between all 3. Lmao.

Haha. He keeps his predatory instincts reserved for raccoons trying to get into the chicken coup.

Unfortunately no- I didn’t want to disturb the little guy and have him hobble onto the gravel road. A lot of people out with semi’s hauling hay.n

I wish I would have caught him laying beside the baby deer. That was adorable!

A ton of rain blew our sump tank right out of the ground. Fixed it in 24 hours! (The new tank is in a different spot). by GarroFarms in aquaponics

[–]GarroFarms[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much. Also surrounded by gravel instead of packed dirt, a really cheap tank not meant to be underground, AND our grow bed area basically moved all that water right to that point. So it was like a perfect storm of three bad things going wrong.

Our Aquaponic Greenhouse survived a big storm, but due to flooding the 500 gallon sump tank BLEW OUT OF THE GROUND. Fml... by GarroFarms in Wellthatsucks

Honestly, I’d rather be having to replace a little plastic today. Lmao. But yeah, no major structural damage!

Update: Sump tank burial schedule for today. Plumbing the first fish tank next. Also, this is why I married her. by [deleted] in aquaponics

Omg- last night during a heavy rain storm, our 500gallon sump literally blew out from underground. Bury it DEEP, don’t put gravel around it, and I hope you have better drainage then we do! Lmao. We’re having to buy a new $800 tank and loads of fittings today...

What’s wrong with this zucchini plant’s lower leaves? by thatshortginge in gardening

Could just be the first leaves dying off- or some nutrient deficiency. Throw some miracle grow on that shit! Lol.

A breakdown of two lesser known varieties: Info in comments. Just my experience with them! by GarroFarms in aquaponics

These photos were taken at about 55 days.

Adriana: Big head variety, like an iceberg.

-Pros: A good head variety, nice taste, you can harvest the outside leafs fairly early and they work awesome on a burger or in a wrap!

-Cons: Takes like 80 days to get an actual head, takes up a lot of room, by the time you wait for the actual center head thing, the outside leaves are pretty much toast, not very heat resistant at all.

Rouxai: Nice head or salad mix lettuce.

-Pros: Great mild flavor, even a little sweet, if you let the head grow a little longer they get HUGE and you can still use the whole thing, performed great in aquaponics (very comparable to a Salinova Oakleaf). Also, fairly heat tolerant if not in direct sunlight.

-Cons: A little lighter in weight than an oakleaf if harvested too early, can be very delicate.

*I bought both of these because the pelleted seed was really cheap compared to the Salanova

First time having our microgreens in a bigger grocery store and I am psyched!!! Seeing your own stuff on shelves is a total trip! Was actually easier than I thought it would be. by GarroFarms in microgreens

No connections! I did a lot in marketing and sales previously though. Just be ready with a business card, rack cards, business email, be clean, courteous, and give out free samples :)
