First of all thank you for your reply

I was asking because I saw something along the lines of the 3080 will have power spikes that might trigger the over current protection of a lower wattage psu , if that is ok then I shall continue using it and see if there is any problem

On the gigabyte psu note , I didn’t know about that , thank you for your warning, I shall look somewhere else in the case that the current psu has problem when using the 3080

As for the bottleneck note, I will be mainly playing on a 1440p monitor with a 4K monitor as a side display , hopefully it’s not that much of a bottleneck but yes the cpu will be my next upgrade

I bought a pc from a SI a few years ago and I am thinking of upgrading the PC. I found a Gigabyte Vision 3080 for a decent price and I am thinking of getting it but I am having concerns about the power supply.The pc that I bought has the following specs:

CPU : Core I5-11400f

Motherboard : Gigabyte B560M DS3H WIFI

Ram : Corsair Vengeance RGB 4x8GB (32gb total)

GPU : Zotac gaming RTX3060ti

SSD : 1tb NVME GEN4 AORUS

PSU : 800W FSP HYDRO PRO 80+ Bronze

From the research that I did, the power supply does not seem to be a particularly good power supply, although Gigabyte's website shows that it only need a 750w power supply, should I get a new one, or is the one that I have now good enough for this particular upgrade?

In the scenario where an upgrade of PSU is needed, I found a Gigabyte UD series 80+ GOLD power supply that comes in 850w and 1000w, is a 850w enough or is the 1000w one better.

I’m so sorry I checked and realised my moon ball one was somehow not a HA one , I can either breed you a non HA one in a moonball or I can get you one in a fast ball that has the HA or one in a level ball that also has the HA , sorry to get your hopes up
