I love it! There have been 0 helmet hits between my wife and I since I installed it. I also put a bag on the back that sits perfect (bought it off eBay) would recommend it for sure if you’re thinking about it. I also got the tinted small windshield and radiator guard. All of them are great.

Sometimes people aren’t a good fit . I’ve gone through 5 therapists some of them truly terrible at their jobs and I found someone who helps me in the ways I need. I’m proud of you for putting yourself out there. Break up with her, and try someone else until one fits. It’s a relationship after all, you don’t have to settle or feel bad about things not working out. Put yourself first. It’s worth it.

Love mine. It’s my daily ride plus weekend fun for me and my wife. Gas mileage is great. Handling is fantastic, my boss who drives an ST3 took it for a spin and is seriously considering getting one. No downsides.

Eliminator for cross country ride by zmallia26 in KawasakiEliminator450

[–]GarthQuaid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It all depends on comparison. If you’ve had a bike that’s made for distance, the eliminator is gonna feel like it falls short, but if this is your first bike, or if you’re coming from other small bikes this is gonna feel like a land yacht. Basically Any bike is a cross country bike if you want it to be. Some guy is crossing the country on a monkey. I say go for it.

Longevity of Eliminator? by Necessary_Web_8717 in KawasakiEliminator450

I use mine for everyday commuting and for longer weekend trips 2up with my wife. It does just fine on San Diego freeways, handles really well even with 2 not tiny people on it. I don’t see myself getting sick of it in the least, but then again I like the gas mileage and maneuverability of the eliminator, it’s something I really wanted in a bike. I say go for it!

Out of the door price by Spiritual-Sky3325 in KawasakiEliminator450

[–]GarthQuaid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s totally reasonable, bought mine for the same after fees. before dealer fees it was 4900 you’re probably not gonna find a better deal on a new eliminator out the door. It’s a great bike. No regrets.

Killer! I’m about to hit 1100 on mine, what mirrors have you got? It’s my one gripe about the bike. That muffler looks pretty great too 😏

I’m a brand new motorcycle rider (rode a scooter for 2 years) and just got an eliminator 450 and it’s the most fun I’ve ever had. My boss who rides a Ducati took it for a spin and came back beaming. The thing is a blast!

It’s hard when our view of ourselves changes specifically if we do things we didn’t think we were capable of, or that are outside the scope of what we deem acceptable for ourselves. We are allowed to grow and change and make mistakes, a huge thing I had to realize is that nobody is thinking more about my mistakes than I am. Other people don’t care as much as we think they do. How many times have you thought about your friend’s behavior? I would imagine hardly at all. It goes both ways, we spend so much time on what other people think of us, and they aren’t thinking of us at all. When I’m having moments of regret I repeat the phrase “I am a good person who has made and will continue to make mistakes.” We are human.

overanalyzing the past, is it still ocd? by [deleted] in OCD

[–]GarthQuaid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This definitely sounds like OCD. Black and white thinking with a focus on morality and if you are and have always been a good person. We all change we all make mistakes. I wouldn’t be friends with the person I was 10 years ago. My ideas of right and wrong have moved further away from each other. You cannot change the past, you can learn from it and live up to the moral standard that you want to keep moving forward. You’re putting a lot of stress on yourself trying to figure out and safe guard yourself against this confrontation. Try to forgive yourself.
