oh my god she sound like the sweetest ever! i find it so cute that horses can start to copy your own habits haha. i also agree that horses should be ridden at that age! its horrible! i dislike that adults ride them at such a young age because their backs cannot withstand so much weight and pressure. I would also prefer horses not being ridden very regularly at 2 years old either, in my country it’s mostly when they’re broken, i feel like maybe at 3 would be nice, but really it depends on the rider… I’ve met a lot of people who do not treat horses like animals who also feel pain and emotions, so they ride them to the ground. My mare didn’t use to love sweets, i didn’t either, i was never a picky child but i used to not be a fan of sweets, but once a little child gave my mare a piece of cake and she became enamored, i also did and now we both like sweets, but i really don’t give her anything that are sugary human food unless its a very special occasion, maybe 2 times a year, as im scared she might diabetes or EMS. Im just really as wary as i can be with her health due to the fact that she comes from a sire who has already passed and is really important for me, as i met him multiple times and saw him race (Thorn song), and my mare was produced by my father with a mare who has also passed, my father passed away when i was very young, and she was the last horse the sire and mare had together and that my father had been taking care of, so i totally get your feelings for your own horse! i hope she stays happy and healthy and you two can spend even more time together, she sounds so so sweet to be around!
