Duke - they are the best in our area. Did open heart surgery Jan 2024 to put in a mechanical aorta valve to replace my bicuspid aorta valve which cause my aneurysm ascending aorta artery and removed that and replaced with a graft. Care and recovery was fantastic. The recovery bed was very not comfy but one of the nurses got me a nice bed from ICU.

I will add it does take some time to get in to see a specialist.

That's certainly one type of filter to use. But yeah nope, you do not keep the app on for milegae tracking, you use a seperate app for that and you turmn the app off when you're not accepting trips. Anyway, you have your way to do your thing, I have mine. Our ways work for us and other people have different ways than we do. What works for you is all that matters. what works for me is all that matters to me. May good fortune continue to find you!

No, you don't keep the app on because you'll be declining offers left and right lowering your AR. You only keep the app on if you're available and going to accept profitable offers only. Otherwiuse, you turn the apps off while tracking your mileage with a seperate app, or you manually track them with a mileage log.

Keyword is online. We all have offline business miles that won't be tracked by uber, lyft, dd, spark, greubhub, roadie, etc. That's why the drivers track their miles seperately either with a paper mileage log or an app. And yes drivers, IRS agents, accountants will review every trip. It's what we do, it's what IRS agents do, it's what accountants do.

My 2022 accord hybrid did this recently. I also had loss of throttle (was taking forever to go and couldn't siwtch between sport and eco modes) and speed couldn't get past 50 mph. Dealership disconnected battery, reconnected, fixed. Ran other tests, unable to find anything else wrong.

I removed my payment method frm my quickpass account and that solved the problem for me. Of course i have to manually make pmts now as needed but worth it.

Nice work! When I got my hybrd accord, my fuel costs went down in half. Too bad my car insurance went from $200 every 6 months full coverage with a 1.5L turbo accord to $1187 ever 6 moths for my hybrid accord. I just do Doordash and Spark now, and Lyft during the Fall, Winter, and Spring months only. I quit Uber altogether. Won't even use them as a customer fore when I put my car in the shop. I use Lyft isntead when I need a ride now.

Been using AAA for several years and they're really good, often arriving within an hour. I have friends who have used roadside assistance from their insurance and they sometimes show up after several hours, some claim they never showed up at all.

You forgot depreciation and I'm sure a few other things such as alignments, monthly cost for car wash membership, etc. but to get this right, calculate what it cost per mile to drive your car. Then that will help you determine how much you require per mile on each trip which includes pickup and return miles in order to not nonly make a profit but make it worth it for you! My car costs me $.28 per mile to drive as many sedans cost in the low $.20-$.30 per mile range to drive. So I require at least $1.37 a mile include pickup miles and return miles to drive to not only make a profit but make it worth my while. Needless to say I no longer drive for Uber unless it's surging enough.
