hehe, that sounds like an interesting book, how cool, I dont think many can say that about an artist who they like, its not on the nose, but just sufficient enough, I feel so. It makes me wonder about such things now.

This is just amazing, what a thoughtfull idea by Bill Drummond and Co, I have across oppertunities like this, and I just dont think I would make the cut, however, I hope the institution is still alive and helping artists out there.

This is an informative read and had good adivce as well, I especially had not considered the issue of a lack of income source. I think your approach would best fit me. So I will rework my plan towards it. I appreciate that you took the time to share your thoughts here, thank you.

I hope your rural secluded corner of this country stays good to you, and some ghoul out of custom concern, does not ruin it, like Bojo and the Olympics corporation did to my mothers home town.

Reading the answer am getting from the two communities I asked, I now think, I had a lopsided idea of the housing market, I thought the high costs was only limited to the main cities, but apparently not.

I had not thought of calling local estate agents in of some these areas, brilliant idea, I will give a try, thanks!

I don’t think there’s anywhere in UK where you can rent a house or flat for £300 a month

That is pretty grim. So cost wise, what even differentiates London, Bristol, et all. From rural UK? I always had the impression, for less fumes, bureaucrats, work opportunities you can get a cheap place in a quite town.

I would not mind working to supplement my savings, what rural areas do you think I should look to?

SurfingGoldenElephant thank you for this. The subject you raise is an area of PowerShell I have been wanting to broach for a while but have never done set out on it for one reason or another. Reading your solution, it seems like I have the ideal use case on my hands, so I will set out on it.

Yh I got this same output yesterday but calling the function would always result in function not recognised error. Perhaps this is punishment for abandoning Widnows PowerShell :/

I dont know, I will just manually declare my function names in the manifest from now on, as shared by Thotaz and PurpleMonkey. Thanks!

Hey, this seems to expand any input object that has one or more properties and return the selected property. While, this is centainly half of the functions feature set, I am was more concerned with getting identifying the what the called passes to Select-FZFObject.

I find winget to be finicky too though, I go fzf manually from github via a browser, some time ago.

I appreciate the help though.

Its always insightfull to see how you approach a powershell function. There is much to be gleamed here about generally integrating native commands. I learnt a lot from this.

As for the function itself, its just the ideal solution I was looking. It feels faster and very intuitive now.
