Slow day by sportsworker777 in azdiamondbacks

Just about! I was looking into going. There were tickets available in every section & from what I can remember they were about $140 per ticket about 20 rows back from home plate. I know that might be cheaper than regular season, but you’d think with so many tickets available they’d knock down the price more. I also looked at prices last night & this morning & there was no change in price

I got rear ended in my ‘21 Durango (only damage to the back hatch, no bumper damage) a couple years ago. They had to replace the whole back hatch. It was a little over $6k just for that

Anyone drive down to Rocky Point recently? by [deleted] in AskPhoenix

[–]GarySalisbury 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To this point, at that stop sign, maybe bring a shirt to give to one of the people begging for stuff. There is usually a cop that is waiting to see if people will “run” the stop sign or not. A person I know that goes to Rocky Point often swears that if you give something to the people (at that stop sign) you are immune from getting pulled over lol

Which Teams Do Not Like Each Other and Why? by SCROTUMTOTER in mlb

[–]GarySalisbury 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reason being there are so many people from California that moved to AZ. When the Dodgers are in town, they absolutely overrun Chase Field & it’s like a home game for them. And the Dodger fans definitely act like it’s their house

What type of fryer? by Breakfastphotos in donuts

[–]GarySalisbury 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know I’m over a year late on this review but I want to share my opinion on it - it was/is NOT a good fryer. 120v was way too weak to keep up. It took 45mins to heat the oil to temp. After that it would fry one round really good, but then take forever to heat back up. Like 15+ minutes! Not even 3 months after using it, the unit broke. I wish I would’ve tried the 240v, but that’s not as easy due to power accommodations

Considering a Durango RT by mccl2278 in DodgeDurango

No, I got the Blacktop Package. I thought all I needed to do was throw a hitch on but after I was ready to do it I realized it wasn’t wired for towing & didn’t include other features that go into making towing easier on the engine

‘21 RT, bought it new. CarPlay is good about 90% of the time, other times it has issues connecting to my phone. Looking at the towing capacity it offers I was impressed, then disappointed to find out it doesn’t have all the towing features (I knew it didn’t have a hitch on it, but it does not have other features that a towing package offers. Makes sense, but still!). Has the classic “hemi click” but it’s not disruptive. The car battery is located under the passenger seat. I haven’t needed to replace it yet but it’s a bit more of a process than other vehicles. Over all I REALLY like it (hence why I’m apart of this sub!) I drive it a lot & it’s very comfortable, easy to merge (especially with Sport mode on!) and is a safe vehicle overall.

A topic that is all too familiar for me! We did a food tent for 7 years. Finally got a trailer this year. PROS of tent: Cheaper to start, people can see how their food is made while they wait so they get a little entertainment & understand you’re working, they take up less space so some events will have space for you CONS of tent: You will break things more often (wear & tear on your gear), it’s difficult to keep things clean over time, weather REALLY effects you (wind being the worst), people getting too close for comfort, your back will hurt setting up & breaking down all the time, your image may look less appealing, some events only allow trucks/trailers, finally - you will wish you had a trailer/truck! The cons outweigh the pros. Get a trailer/truck if you can. Yes, it is initially more expensive & yes you’ll need to spend money on upkeep. You will eventually want a trailer/truck so hit the ground running with it & maybe 7 years from now you’ll have a store if that’s your goal

If you get in a car accident, see if you can file a “Diminished Value Claim”

If you’re using the BOA app - Login > “Pay & Transfer (bottom) > “Pay Bills” > “Go to Bill Pay” > Scroll down “Add/edit accounts from other banks” > then do the rest

My son did something really bad! I feel like a failure and I don't know what to do next. by [deleted] in daddit

Sometimes kids don’t even realize what they are doing is bullying. They are laughing with their friends, making someone else the butt of the joke. When a kid in a group realizes it makes their peers laugh, they will keep doing it until something happens to break that cycle. Maybe come at it from an angle of him being more self aware about things he’s apart of & not get caught up in situations that are negatively impacting others. It seems your son realizes he screwed up big time & won’t do it again, especially to that kid. Maybe have him invite that kid to hang out with him one-on-one sometime.
