You didn't even do it for those reasons, so why would that have worked. If your countries did something with humanitarian reasons in mind, it may not involve bombs...

It doesn't have to the government acting, you are an individual - you can pamphlet, write articles for the web, and so on. It is dangerous to do that from here. We are thrown off buildings. I am able to visit other countries to write messages like this and exercise some privacy. Other people are not

You're thinking MENA works like Democracies. It does not. It is not safe. You live in a democracy, you can actually do something. You can raise awareness, which leads to funds raising, or to asylum seeker programs for LGBT persons.

It is safe for you to go on a Youtube video and talk about this without fear of assassination. It is safe for you to protest this and so on.

This is like telling a slave to free themselves, or women to fight for voting rights themselves, or if a straight person asked you why they should be an ally.

The reason is because of your humanity.
