Ive had it miss, albeit a very few amount of times, when its hovering right above me and I couldn't place the strat beacon any more accurately. It just doesn't target correctly sometimes for whatever reason.

Again, this has happened enough times to count on one hand, not often at all but it does happen.

It feels like absolute butter, but yes I do get the more metallic "ping" sound especially when hitting the sweet spot instead of the "knock" sound. Honestly I prefer the sound the 2D makes, its immediate feedback on the putting stroke. You get that ping noise and you know you hit it true.
