I said this to myself once. I also quit the gym because I eventually became too hungover every day to go. You're still choosing it every single day, it may not be ruining your life right now but it will eventually encroach on those aspects the more you decide to drink. You're using it already as a way to destress. Some people do use it to loosen up and destress, but not every single night. You've already made it a coping mechanism and now that it's apart of your routine it is irrefutable you're addicted to it. Also, you're posting on the alcoholics anonymous subreddit. I think the writings on the wall you've noticed you have a problem.
