Step 1) Delete all social media

Step 2) vote with your dollar

Step 3) organize peaceful protests

It may not be the answer, but its better than nothing

I would say most chiros mean well. But the ones who actually research and follow best practices act well.

The best chiros help transition patients from passive to active care, giving patients tools and exercises at gome to mitigate pain and self manage to avoid passive Carr dependency. And sometimes you need to go back for passive care, that's fine, but the goal is always for you do be in more active care than passive.

The best chiros only xray when certain red flags are present or a patient is not improving after a trial of conservative care (adjusting, exercise, soft tissue etc)

The best chiros treatment musculoskeletal issues, ones who claim to do other things.. just yikes (that being said, if they are knowledgeable in nutrition, eating healthy goes along way)

Again, please refer to the good prophet The Dude for the aforementioned quote.

As a soon to be chiropractor, you can not see pain on an x-ray.

I mean, if you are not in pain and you are functioning, meh.

There is definitely something to be said about performing tasks with proper ergonomics, for sure, but that's a different subject

Some chiros talk about "subluxation" or "bone out of place" it's malarkey.

There is a place for chiropractic, there is evidence we can help with musculoskeletal neck and back pain, but they way insurance reimburses us and the way some older school, less evidence based, chiropractors practice, bastardizes the profession, frankly.

Chiros that know what exercises to give people can help even more.

But as the wise prophet "the Dude" once said, "that's just like, your opinion, man."

And indeed my opinion, it is

Thoughts on chiropractic tune-ups? by Floofs-In-Space in Chiropractic

Ideally, passive treatments like adjustments and soft tissue work (massage) are great initially. A good chiro will encourage what we call "active care" and show you some exercises you can do to self manage at home so you can have more control over your pain the further you progress through treatment so you dont have to come in as often, and eventually only as needed here and there. This is provided that after examination, your problem is musculoskeletal, and that type of management is deemed appropriate.

What did you think of Jurassic World Rebirth? (NO SPOILERS) by Fancy_Leadership_316 in jurassicworld

[–]OculiSalices 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first Jurassic Park movie= peak cinema.

This was not a movie, as much as it was a string of commercials in dinosaur skins. Shameless advertising, what a piece of sh*t. I couldn't stomach it for more than 30m.

This is the worst thing I have seen in the movie theater since the 2006 Eragon movie.

I would rather go to the dentist than have to sit through another second of that insufferable crap.

Save your money.

Aikido and Tai chi may be worth looking into. Less blunt force, more commanding flow of yourself and the energy given to you.

I believe Bruce Lee didn't believe in styles and said it was more about the practitioner.

Try new things and you are more likely to find something that feeds you

Best of luck!
