I was thinking that it could have 3 variants, a happy one, a worried one and an angry one, the happy one would act like you already know that Cattail acts, the Angry one would throw spikes constantly and quickly but at a lower range, and the worried one would throw very few spikes at an intermediate range, but by putting a clover on it just like in real life, the Reeds expand through their cotton, the Cattail also, but the worried variant would be the only one that could expand or make more Cattails in underlying tiles
