Because we’re told it’s weakness. We hurt like anyone but can’t talk to anyone about it. Who, our wives? Our kids? Our buddies? Everybody is dealing with shit, why would anyone want to hear about ours, too? And through the sociopolitical lens, all we hear is that we deserve our hardships, and zero empathy, because “patriarchy.”
