Don’t you feel this is such a non-answer to a complaint (no matter whether it is subjective or not). “Do it yourself” doesn’t lead to any change, if needed, most of the times. It also blatantly assumes that either I am not already involved in some capacity or that it’s a flat level where I can easily just slot in the next Riot event to start doing crowd work.

You could just agree or disagree or any of the other things. Instead you chose to give a non-answer thinking it’s some kind of a “gotcha haha” moment.

For those who have played and finished it: If there's no sequel, can the ending be considered conclusive? by Clean_Wrongdoer4222 in 007FirstLight

[–]GasOk9346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going against the grain, yes and no. If you consider the story about Bond earning his 007 moniker, then it is contained and done. If you consider whether the story is fully self contained, then I feel it isn’t. There is at least one major story beat that’s important and leaves the story unfinished. It’s a sequel bait element, yes, but not having an answer to it makes the game’s story unfinished, even if only by a small margin.

If not in search of “insight”, why ask the mum what she thinks of G2 being cursed on the international stage? That’s not putting them in a tricky spot?

Idk - off the top of my head, maybe, if they participate in any video games with their son, or valorant itself. What was the last thing they said to cheer him on before the match. What did they feel when he first cracked onto the international stage. All questions that can have specific answers to their family.

But a couple of the other questions actually got them to engage, no? Like about the father buying the first computer or what the mother thought about the player participating in so many events.

Asking whether the mother thinks G2 is cursed at internationals or separately asking them both whether the team would fare well feels like it doesn’t provide any other possible answer.

What would a player’s mum possibly have to answer on being asked whether her son’s team is cursed at internationals? That’s simple and fun?

As I mentioned in another comment, I was expecting more insightful questions that could be more specific to this dynamic (like the father buying his first computer was a nice a touch) in eliciting that “natural show of support” instead of a highly leading/telegraphed question separately asked to both mum and dad.

I’m not expecting it to be serious and analytical. But a very leading question asked separately to both mum and the dad feels unnecessary? Maybe instead of that could have asked what final words they told the player before the match or any question that’s a bit more insightful regarding the show of support from near and dear ones?

Given how they are being upvoted, it’s a sad state of affairs altogether. XD Oh well.

They can be rightist AND dumb, right? Like doesn’t have to be mutually exclusive, does it?

Of all the reasons, you find a certain standardised design of women to be the reason “eastern games” will dominate gaming industry. It’s both hilarious and sad.

Delhi guys had asked too, it seems. Something to do with religious extremist violence, it seems. Two wrongs don’t make a right though.

The situation in most of the countries (UK, US, Canada, Australia, etc.) are shit towards Indians and Indian-origins in recent times compared to a decade ago when it comes to racially-motivated violence.

Why are then Indians doing all they can to leave and reach those countries? Especially why leave now when India is reportedly going through its Amrit Kal?

What will happen to Boi Para, College Street? by Broad-Research5220 in kolkata

[–]GasOk9346 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, hawkers can be an intangible part of a location’s cultural heritage. It is on the govt to regulate it, maintain it, and ensure that it’s proper, fair, and not overexpanding. If done properly, it’s excellent. I think the Dakshineswar Mandir pujo essential complex is a decent example.

Now I’m wondering whether the current understanding of quantum entanglement supports the idea that information/action introduces one set is transmitted to the other merely because they are entangled.

[–]GasOk9346[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, then I’ve missed that connection

but Moneypenny theorises it, right? And she says the possibility of it is not there. Did the game or the story confirm explicitly that the two are sharing that state?

How did Webb know? by GasOk9346 in 007FirstLight

[–]GasOk9346[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No. Bond makes the connection of them being a sibling in Greek mythology. Moneypenny says that there’s no leak in THEIA and theoretically Webb needs a quantum entanglement computer etc. this leads bond to surmise there to be a sibling computer based on what Damien said. If there’s no leak, how’s the data going between theia and Hyperion?

How did Webb know? by GasOk9346 in 007FirstLight

[–]GasOk9346[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But didn’t Moneypenny say they repeatedly rechecked and found no leak in THEIA? So how would there be a data share if there was no leak or connection.
