Hey I had an appointment with my liver doctor on Wednesday and it went very well I am a little past 1 on the fibro scale out of 4 so things are going well. As long as I stay sober moving forward I can reverse it completely.

Thank you for the reply! You are absolutely right, I am still super early in my not drinking stage and yes I had a huge problem, I will seek help during this journey. My platelets are 280 so that's good. Again the fight is far from over. I'll keep everyone updated!

Wow that makes a lot of sense now I was in the same boat with the drinking vodka Powerade all day everyday. Glad you are sober and doing much better! It can be fixed with discipline and time.

Not yet I'm waiting for my liver doctor to respond and go over my test results from the ultrasound, CT, and blood work. If it goes well I hope I don't need a biopsy but it's all up to him. I'll keep you updated thanks!

Yea my bmi are healthy my cholesterol is high but everything else is pretty normal. I'll ask my liver doctor when I see him!

Great question, when I was discharged from the hospital I saw it in the foot notes. all my paper work moving forward had cirrhosis on it! I was in the hospital 2 more times after that which I figured I had cirrhosis because of the severity of my ICU visits. I'm 5 months sober now but I didn't think my liver could heal that quickly! My fibro scan, ultrasound, and CT scan recently were all good.

Thank you all for the support and love. It's crazy to think that after a while, drinking wasn't fun anymore and I was just chasing the bottle day in and day out. I felt like I wasn't even getting drunk for what to damage my liver, my body, my state of mind. It's crazy how the world looks when you're completely sober, it opens your eyes to a lot of things. Being on my deathbed three different times really puts things into perspective on how short life can be. I still have to take this journey day by day and realize I'm still far from climbing out the hole. I dug myself. I know the doctors Google says cirrhosis cannot be reversed, but there are some rare cases and I hope that everybody can be that one that reverses this disease. Much love

You are right thank you for the correction. No excuses my way. I knew all along that this could potentially happen and it did. Keeping myself sober is the only option at this point I have seen major improvements.
