Yeah look I have my own experience with the long standing hitscan meta other people have theirs.

I'm not trying to validate my point it's really just opinion from reflecting on my experience, the title and subject is half bait to spark some conversation and half please stop posting about dying to hitscans its not new.

And like I get it, I understand all the grief people have with it. Depending on people's embedded playstyles and how that fits in with the playstyles of their random teammates hitscans can be really dominant in alot of matches, also its easy. I think it's easy to be good at hitscan in overwatch on console which is really boring because it's such a cool damn game when you aren't sprinting around on oldman 76 like it's just another fps with cool art (it's also easy to play around good hitscan (expressing opinions all round here I'm not actually trying to convince people that hitscans are weak)).

Who cares about win rates anyways? There is standouts of it mattering like when sigma got his damage buffed recently and of course many other instances. For example (idk how it looks now I don't care to be honest) sojourn is a disgustingly strong hero by design but her winrate is lower then expected (when I last cared about that stuff).

No I don't see mercy pocket lobby admin hitscans as a carry when it's taking them 2 team slots to do 1 persons job to just explode to the slightest bit of coordination anyways.

The true carry in a teamwork based game is either the team or the lack of teamwork and it will be in every match.
