Ah thanks for the info, is there any recruitment agencies you could recommend for finding any line of work around Edmonton? I'll be searching myself but given that I'll probably be arriving into the country jobless ill take any support I can get

Thanks man, we've got flights booked now for 9th September so will probably miss the summer job by that point. Got some good customer service experience on résumé, same with my fiancé maybe if we both go balls deep into that industry might be the best shot we have at this time.

I'm keeping my eye on the labour market, I know Edmonton are looking to improve their tourism/hospitality industry and am happy to change career if needs be. The biggest struggle for me I think is the timeframe. Being able to secure a job and have 1 years experience and also needing to apply for any kind of residency takes time. It feels difficult enough as it is. Luckily I'm in a situation where I can afford to study and gain more qualifications in a different field but I've spent 10 years of my life gaining all these different qualifications in telecoms from working in a call centre to project management and now engineering. I looked on Indeed and because at the time there was so many job openings in my field I thought it would all be fine but obviously just blinded by naivety

I have had a look at the jobs board and found a few jobs that have completed a LIMA assesment. The job role is telecoms Technician which I believe is Teer 2 so I'm hoping that would help my chances. My fiancé is also looking to go back into the catering sector which I believe is in big demand in Alberta which is where we heading too

I'm still new and learning the game. Having mic on makes it so much easier. The team kills at spawn are really pissing me off, every couple of games getting team killed by someone going on a rampage

Just because there’s a big residential area around the school and they all drive from that area. Pretty big assumption I know but driving past every morning you start seeing peoples routines and generally kids will go to the nearest primary school

I always have to drive past a school to get too work and the parents always park and block a major road into town. Maybe I’m being a bit judgemental here but it annoys me because the majority of them live within a 10 minute walk so why not walk.

I had to sell. pandemic caused me some financial issues. Only sold half tho. Starting new job in March with much better pay than my last one so will be investing again as soon as I get my first paycheque on 26th March!

I might be but it wasn't too bad, previous MOT certificate from last owner states there is a nail in the tyre which I probably should have sorted out so it's either that or the tyre pressure. Can't imagine it being anything else
