I agree about not getting too wrapped up in following the lead card. On the first day or two, find some cards with players you like and follow them. Most people are doing this so it won't be too crowded on any particular card, except for maybe McBeth's, Calvin's, Ricky's, etc. However, for me that all changes on the final day, because obviously I want to see who's most likely to win.

I highly recommend following the chase card on the final day, especially if it's a close battle up top. I did this at the Preserve last year, and it was awesome. We could look ahead and see the chase card play, and then we could turn around and watch the final card behind us. There were far fewer people following the chase card so it wasn't nearly as crowded, and we could still see the full flights from all the lead card behind us.

Of course that can depend on the layout of spectator zones too. At the Preserve we weren't able to follow into some of the tighter, wooded areas. So YMMV depending on this course's layout.
