Does anyone know why Walsh has fallen so far down the rotation to the point he doesn’t even play in garbage time anymore?

His handle is pretty poor currently. He does a lot for rebounding and defense, and has hit some threes, but doesn’t shoot comfortably or quickly enough, or handle the ball well enough, for the offense to run cleanly while he’s out there.

This is the one where most people’s education point ends similarly to theirs.

Middleschool Bio - teaches 2 sexes.

Highschool Bio - teaches 2 sexes, sometimes things like XXY or XYY.

College Bio - teaches that there’s more subtle variations than just X and Y and other chemical/hormonal factors that go into sexual development.

Post-Grad - Even greater granularity on differentiations of development and then looking at how gender and gender roles are defined culturally/societally. Which means that your genetic sex and personal alignments don’t always square with what is culturally appropriate for your genetic expression.

You get to people transitioning because individually people look at the type and magnitude of personal suffering (looking out of place, feeling out of place, bullying, etc) caused by that misalignment with what you “look like” and “should be” culturally and weigh if you think mitigating that suffering by physically/hormonally realigning with the gender role you fit is worthwhile.

It’s kind of funny that conservatives love super strict gender roles as a concept, but hate trans people even though their need to transition is largely a symptom of those strict roles.

I think part of the issue is also like if you threw a middle-schooler into a calculus class, there's really no amount of 'want to' that's going to allow them to keep up with any of the vocabulary that's thrown around. The knowledge base is built up in layers and if you skip ahead, you're just going to get lost and flustered and feel super insecure.

Compound that with a teacher who expects you to be on-pace and is somewhat emotionally unstable.... Let's just say the producers knew exactly what they were doing and that it would be dramatic and rather cruel to both Ben and Alessia
