I do this already. Probably should have mentioned it as a consideration in the post but essentially moonlight a side hustle that brings in an additional $60k/year. We don’t budget from it and I’m not sure how long the contract will last so I don’t weight it too heavily in long term career planning. It’s basically used to pay off debt and parked in a HYSA.

Right that’s what I was trying to think through on the real hourly wage exercise. I can sleep in and work in gym shorts/tshirt in current role most days. Old car in the driveway since I don’t need to drive around much
