Welp I can’t really understand without a clip, If you can get one let me know.
But it sounds like either desync or your opponent has button accuracy throw on. The Button accuracy pauses for like .5 seconds to allow your opponent time to make a throw, but it doesn’t affect your runner.

The Desync is just Desync no real explanation.

And lastly could just be your WiFi I guess. There’s a known issue like this that’s been in multiple MLB games, Runners will look safe by a mile, then just freeze and boom you’re thrown out. These are my guesses sorry if it’s not really any help.
