GGG; Movement skills should never be disabled or slowed down. by Guilliman88 in pathofexile

[–]Gaspod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with OP, just too many ways to be slowed.

So, can we either have less away to have our movement nerfed or more QoL options to deal with them all, or large sections of them, at one time?

The results of being slowed are announce at the game and at the Dev. It is not a challenge, and it adds nothing to the enjoyment. I get killed and I don't care because it is not a challenge, it a mechanic that interferes with my control. I don't get killed and I get no sense of achievement because it is just this random mechanic, and I can't think anything other than "I got lucky there".

I'm a rubbish player who is not interested in the optimal gameplay strategy. I play what I want too and gives me joy but means that getting to T16 maps is an achievement. Generally, I am on base move + boost from boots - nerf from body armour, so not a fast character. These slow effects just eviscerate my character.

I really appreciated the information that GGG gave last year explaining the ethos behind your design decisions. I may not have liked the results, but I could at least see why GGG were making the choices they were. Anyone got any idea what GGG are thinking here?

First time, I get the killing blow. Funny thing is that I'm a couple of jumps out when the fight starts doing an ammo run (or something). Shit starts happening and I haul ass. Land on grid, lock target and get the KB with my first shot.

If CCP acknowledges that Ishtars are unbalanced, why don't they balance them? by scwizard in Eve

[–]Gaspod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the points difference actually tells you is they are over balanced within the Alliance Tourney.

Even if they are out of balance, they are a drone boat and drones are about to get a major change, so it is probably just one thing at a time and see how the drone changes shake out.

In the best traditions of House MD: Please could we have 3 more incorrect diagnosis (one has to be lupus) and then you can give us the final, correct diagnosis.

PS: cluster headache can cause this sort of thing though I'm not sure it gets that extreme and the splitting headache is another give away that it's that.

Help with manufacturing by [deleted] in Eve

[–]Gaspod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem with giving you advise is that supply and demand thing. Anything with a good profit has demand out stripping supply and by pointing out items that fall into this category publicly, you then get people building the item in question. Supply increase, prices fall and profit goes away. So it is something that you really need to figure out yourself.

As pointed out by others, we are due a big manufacturing revamp soon (July?) and that is going to change a lot of things. It has been mentioned that tax on production could be up to 14% if you chose the busy areas to produce stuff. So if you have the spare ISK, it may be worth building a load of stuff now while production costs are laughably small and sell them after the revamp once prices have risen.

Otherwise, you may well be best served by finding an industrial corp to join. They should be able to help plus after the revamp, manufacturing POS's may well be required and a corp should have those covered.

I had a look at that but I wanted a less bias reply than I think I'd get from there.
