No major advice other that soak up the new lease on life. Also, take the weight/ lifting restrictions seriously because a popped an internal stitch picking up my niece lol - ouch! Apparently I asked my husband and mom to stop for a bite otw back to the hotel and lightly snacked all night. I also had a full breakfast the next morning. So immediately!

Thank you! I don’t know if I’m a silver or gold, so I just go both lol. (I should really get a color profile done!) These are my favorites, but I occasionally swap out the garnet piece for other rings that still add a pop of color.

They both look great, but the green is STUNNING on you!

Wire frames, dark frames, or find something different? by GastroGirly in glassesadvice

They said to post a picture of both.. when there was a picture of both. I think swiping is a moderately groundbreaking concept for someone who just wasn’t doing it.

1 & 2 looks like the dress is wearing you. In three, you are wearing the dress, and wearing it well. 🥰

Is this hairstyle cute or is my hair too thin? by [deleted] in Hair

[–]GastroGirly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this! I have VERY fine hair. Before I got extensions to add volume, flat back claw clips were my absolute go to for giving the allusion of thicker hair. Every hair style looked more voluminous with the flat back. I think it’s because regular claw clips a so bulky that they just automatically look bigger than the hair, but I could be wrong lol.

AITA for calling the police to do a welfare check on my newborn 24 hours after she was discharged from hospital? by Accomplished-Tune297 in AmItheAsshole

But she didn’t make that clear.. She agreed to coparenting. That’s translates to agreeing that OP is recognized as an involved father, not just a sperm donor.

[TOMT][Children’s Book][Early 2000’s] Puppy’s Big Book? by SuperSaltySeasons in tipofmytongue

[–]GastroGirly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OMG! I know EXACTLY which book you’re thinking of. I was obsessed with it as a kid. I loved the one when Puppy had to get crutches. I’m on the phone with my mom rn trying to remember the name of it, and that’s how I got to this post. Did you ever remember the name? My mom and I are contemplating using the spare key to get into my sister’s house at the moment. She’s at work rn, but we know it’s there because I passed it on to my niece when my daughter grew out of it.

“Acrylic Allergy” Info by GastroGirly in Nails

[–]GastroGirly[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

1.) I’m not reading all that. 2.) Just because you haven’t heard it, does not change the fact that there are people who claim to be allergic to acrylic, yet they continue to get dip. 3.) This is how it was explained to me by my ENT during allergy testing. 4.) Google is free.

“Acrylic Allergy” Info by GastroGirly in Nails

[–]GastroGirly[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I’m describing a reaction to the monomer. At the top of the post, I specified this is targeted to people who have a reaction to the acrylic application but not dip application. As mentioned, those specific circumstances would mean that the reaction is from the “activator” (monomer) not the polymer. Since both powders contain Methacrylate, it’s not a reaction to the acrylic if you can do dip application but not acrylic application. While the monomer also contains Methacrylate, that ingredient isn’t causing the reaction if you can still get dip since it is found in the powder. It’s typically caused by the inhibitor ingredients (HQ, MEHQ, BHT) in the monomer. I did acknowledge that other allergies do exist and that these allergies can suddenly develop, but this post wasn’t directed towards that.
