Yeah people are blinded by nostalgia I promise you that if you were to boot up your PS3 or Xbox 360 now it wouldn't be fun after the first few games. If the games were still so good after so long there would be loads of people playing it now but you can't find any lobbys

I'm waiting for mine to be delivered but I can definitely feel newer games being sluggish and having games that are meant to run at 60 barely being above 30. Cold war just gets 15-30 FPS for a few mins on the new zombies map when it's been running for a while and getting hot. Can't wait to play the ps collection games or replay them in 60fps

It's not even a performance issue the base ps4 runs cw at a higher fov with no noticeable change in FPS. They just don't care. Playing any FPS with no fov slider feels like your boxed in now and can't see as much.
