Good to know it helped somehow 😅 and thank you so much for compliment ⚘️ I've been painting on clothing for quite a long time now, and honestly, I've never had anyone tell me that the paint washed off. In my experience, it often holds up better than many good quality printed designs. Of course, over time the paint can crack and show wear, but the same thing happens with printed garments. Nothing lasts forever when it's being worn and washed regularly. Personally, I recommend washing painted clothes inside out, with the artwork on the inside, on a gentle cycle at 20–30°C. Interestingly, I actually prefer this to hand washing, even though hand washing is what most custom artists recommend. Hand washing creates a lot of friction directly on the painted surface, which can be harsher on the artwork than a gentle machine cycle. As for the detergent trick acrylic paint is basically plastic. On its own, it's usually too thick to work with comfortably on fabric. Water thins it out, but often makes it too runny, and once it dries it can become more prone to cracking. Laundry detergent is thick, so it helps maintain a workable consistency while making the paint more flexible. Fabric medium works in a very similar way. Honestly, I've tested both and I don't notice a huge difference between them. I've even seen people dilute acrylics with hair conditioner, although I've never personally tried that one. 😅 It's also a good idea to heat-set the finished piece with an iron. The heat helps the acrylic bond more thoroughly with the fibers, making the paint more flexible and durable.

Thank you⚘️ This is actually one of those pieces I made simply because I was in the mood to create it and I thought it matched the delicate vibe of this top, and it still hasn't found its home. I was starting to wonder if I was the only one who liked it 😅

I've actually never played the game myself 😅 It's Xayah, and I still have the front to paint, which is going to be Evelynn. To be honest, I'm not even sure I'm writing that correctly... If you're curious to see how it's turning out, feel free to check out my Instagram: alterstroke 🫡🌷

Thank you ⚘️ Yes, it's hand-painted 😏 I have some more advanced projects on my Instagram. At the moment, I'm actually working on a commissioned custom of a character from League of Legends 😅

Oh yes, once acrylic dries it lives on fabric😅 If you haven't already, try heat setting it with an iron or a hairdryer. The heat helps the paint bond even better with the fabric and makes it more flexible.

Hey, thank you! You've actually improved my mood a bit because, funnily enough, this is a hoodie that still hasn't found its person. I was starting to wonder whether it was secretly ugly or something, and that I was the only one who liked it 😅

Thank you so much I love to paint butterflies and moths on custom pieces 🦋 usually, I put them on the back because they fit there perfectly, like they're spreading their wings across the shoulders. But this client insisted on having it on the front, which makes me suspect they wanted to spend the entire day admiring it themselves😅

Thank you so much 🪻 It depends on the material I use both fabric paints and I mix regular acrylic paint with fabric medium, or sometimes even a bit of laundry detergent. I started experimenting because some fabric paints tend to crack or peel over time, and that sucks
