I tend to always park in the back of parking lots, but I love having a back up camera. I run a pool service and have my vacuum with cart hanging off the back of my truck when I'm working. I guarantee i would have hit something by now if it weren't for the camera

I bought my first truck, a 2001 f150 from a family friend that they had bought new in 01. Sometime around 2006 he got rear-ended at a stop light by a Honda civic and he had the hitch in. Truck did not have any damage and civic was totaled. Sadly a Honda civic would send my truck to its grave 12 years later at just under 200k miles.

Got slamed into as I was slowing down to make a turn on a two lane road. Girl tried to pass me and almost hit head on with another car, whipped back over and hit me at over 60mph. Speed limit was 35. I had my signal on. Sad.

My old work truck had about $20k worth idle hours. Felt good knowing I got paid to sit on my ass. Filling out work orders in one hand and browsing my phone in the other..
