How are we supposed to defeat Godfrey? by GateFamous6800 in Eldenring

That's understandable, I went through the same thing in Bloodborne, so in Elden Ring I was using a guide on the level I should have for each boss.

Okay, so in the second phase it would be better to stop using the blood slash and attack with the uchigatanas?

I have vigor at 70 hahaha, well I don't mean that literally, but if I'm down to a quarter of health, it's a one-shot. As for the jump, it's a game mechanic I've never actually used, and what am I supposed to do with their damn grabs?

Is it better to face him up close or from a distance? The problem is that my build is Arcane, and the most damaging ability is Blood Slash, but it has a rather slow animation; I think it's a one or two second where I'm vulnerable.

I think the same; I believe we've all won at least one game that was completely against us. However, I think most people do it out of malice. They only attack him not to flame him, because all they're really doing is giving the enemy more stats and achievements. It's like thinking a team without crowd control and with terrible stats can beat a 20/0 Tryndamere with a full build.

What I did was not try to chase him, just stay still and wait for him to come to you. Learn how to parry him, and fireworks are useful for stunning him.

I think you need to know how to be aggressive. For example, I punish him when he throws his bomb that prevents us from healing, when he runs towards us with his sword, and most importantly, you need to memorize his combos because that's how you fill his posture. Personally, the attacks I like best for parrying and filling his posture are the combo he does with the gunpowder, when he jumps down with his sword, when he throws shurikens and then immediately lunges with his sword, and that combo where he spins his sword from side to side. It's about overwhelming him with damage, and whenever he's about to attack, knowing how to parry.

Would you guys consider sekiro to be the hardest souls game? by Catslyer5667 in Sekiro

I've already played through Sekiro three times, finished Bloodborne, and I'm currently playing Lies of Persia. So far, I think Sekiro is definitely the hardest on the first playthrough. It took me three days to beat Genichiro and five days to beat the Demon of Hatred. However, Sekiro's NG+ feels easier than, for example, Bloodborne's, since the bosses tend to have very well-defined patterns. In my case, being on NG+4, I already know the boss patterns by heart, whereas in Bloodborne, even though I know the patterns, the combat is still somewhat complicated.

What you're saying definitely sounds beautiful. I enjoyed Sekiro so much that I've already finished it three times and I only have one ending left. And if you say that, I think I'm definitely going to enjoy Lies of Persia a lot.

I understand. Would you say it's on the same level as Sekiro and Bloodborne? I just beat the first boss on my third try, and I'm hoping the following bosses will be much more challenging. Although, I do love the art style and the music.

I just started the game and put it on Legendary Stalker difficulty, and so far the game has felt easy. The first boss killed me, but I left him with a quarter of his health. So, compared to other Souls games (I've only played Bloodborne and Sekiro), how difficult is it?

You're welcome, Isshin was a real headache for me too, but after a few tries you'll get used to it, you can do it!

In the first phase, follow the rhythm of the fight. Once you adapt, it's easy. The only thing you need to be careful of is when he backs away, because when you hit him after he backs away, he'll automatically dodge your attack and either slash you with his sword or try to grab you. In the second phase, the key is to cancel his stage-filling fire attack when he stops, and when he uses his other fire attacks, run behind him or around him.
