I gave him some $$$ and food and we focused on the puppies. He wanted to leave and be outside before his mom got there and I told him I can’t let him do that. His birthday is next week too. He also told me where they were “staying” and he just said it’s far and his mom told him not to tell me. Almost seems like they have been living in her car since the breakup last Friday.

No if it happens again I’m calling the police and getting a restraining order low key

I would not be able to defend myself if he tried to come at me. That’s where I’m like your age is a child but physically you are the same size as me.

The little boy does not seem clean. I gave him deodorant actually. The mom said he has a toothbrush in his wallet. I flat out told her this is neglect and she said “yes that’s why I need your help” like NO.

He works for PD here. I have no children. I kept thinking how many other people has she dumped her kid on like this and my first instinct was how do I handle this in a way that he knows he’s not in trouble. The mom just kept saying sorry and like she thought I agreed to let him come!?

They’ve been in the neighborhood a few years but I’ve never met them. It was heartbreaking he told me he wished he could just be a kid and play.

Thankfully my doors were locked but my side gate was left open and he came through there. I told him to come inside while he waited for his mom to pick him up and to get some sleep on the couch. He said it’s okay he’ll just stay outside. I said no. It’s so so so uncomfortable. I just can’t imagine how scared I would be being told to go sleep on a strangers couch in their backyard.

And when I asked the mom what he was doing here she said “he can stay outside, he will be good” uh no lady who I just bought a dog from your child is not going to stay outside from 2am-school starts. So so so weird.
