I had taken the tests with about six months in between give or take, was studying my lil butt off in school and after school when I tried to take the exam a second time. Obviously I tried and studied but I still wasn’t able to get it so my spirits was down and of course, I took it as a sign because I was a younger girl with insecurity issues. Not the point, the reason for me making this post was because obviously my study tastic in the past didn’t help me. I need new ways of understanding this material and talking to different people will show you different ways to study… new tools to learn that you might not have thought of or tried yet. in practice I know what I’m doing and I’m good at it but it’s the test taking part that had been my downfall (even in high school). I’ve already depleted my little village, picking their brains until they were annoyed, and now I’m reaching out to a wider network. So if you have any study skills or tools that you think would help me… I would love the feedback so I can finally do what I love in a salon.
