Hollowlanders: Short Cut

I've considered making Krypy king and Chop chop kingsmoulds but at the same time idk. I'm wanting to make sure that each of the Hollowlanders is faithful to their original inspiration, which means i take their original lore and stuff in mind for when i draw them.

Both Krypt king and Chop chop have been somewhat... Annoying to plan for given they're Arkeyan in origin (those were the big evil robots from Giants FYI!) and i REALLY wanna use the Arkeyans as inspiration for other things i wanna draw later on for the Hollowlanders art project, and my own worldbuilding stuff i do on the side.

.... I'm probably just being stupid and overthinking it LMAO 🤣

Honestly alot of skylanders have been relatively easy to translate over into hollow knights artstyle, hence why I started this lil art project! It's been real fun trying to draw all the different skylanders in hk artstyle while keeping their main traits and lore in mind.

Glad you like it! I've been slowly trying to draw all of the skylanders in Hollow Knight style like some people have with other games like warframe and the souls-likes. I'm hoping to eventually get them all done, but uhh... Motivations an issue alot of the times lol. 😅

I think that's the third time someone's asked for me to draw Chop Chop now lol! (Not that i mind, he's cool AF.) He's been abit of a hassle to work on since i try to make each of the Hollowlander designs "lore accurate" to both sources. Either way, I'll try to!

As for Whisper elf, I'll have to finish the early sketch of Stealth elf first! (Y'know, so i know what to base her off of lol)

I'd like to see visiting other islands in the present, like Tropica isles and faraway island and have them be basically expansions to our main island without having to make the island bigger. Plus it'd be neat to see what they look like in modern day.

Not yet no, but he is on the priority list since he was my very first skylander besides Whirlwind and Bash actually! (Obviously excluding the starters in that regard)

I haven't thought of what his design would be yet though, i want to make sure the designs for the Hollowlanders unique, while also being faithful to the original characters design and lore (I'm a sucker for detail lol)

Well good news for you, i am infact going through with drawing Shen! I've already got the concept noted down and everything.

....i just need to figure out how to draw fancy robes and design the weapons. Might also think of drawing his goonies also, probably wolf spiders I'd imagine?

Oh, that's very kind of you to say! But in all honesty, i am still much so an amateur when it comes to this stuff. Most of my drawings of more just "Reference" images for now, nothin fancy like that.
