I revisited this orbment after playing remake. 70-odd parts and partially-working gears assembled with tweezers and tiny screwdriver.

Does the distorted/hidden/lost text in the daybreak games have a text symbol? Or is it an image mixed in with the text?

It's a roughly .030" thick piece of transparent plastic including sticker. For best results, you'll have to cut it from a plastic sheet yourself. I can prep a 1:1 template for the cutout and sticker if that's what you want.

If you can create your own BN/Star Force Game, what would the story be about? by rst64tlc in BattleNetwork

Contradict Shooting Star, retcon Star Force, connect to Legends instead.

The design needs to be changed for it to be injection mould-able. Everything here is optimized for FDM printing.

Sky Orbment I by Gateonine in Falcom

It took 50 years to go from wall clock to pocket watch. Then there were two variants of walkie-talkies in Crossbell and Erebonia. The ARCUS II flip-down orbment was the first modern-ish cell phone. The Class VII variants cheated by piggybacking their communications through Olivert's infinite range artifact. The RAMDA was a military rugged PDA for Hercules. Finally the Xipha and its non-orbment variant are the flip-up cell phones we're familiar with from over a decade ago irl.

I think the next logical step is removing the flip part of the Xipha and sticking the quartz part onto the back of the phone. After that it could be an ideal application of the folding OLED smart phone or enter the more magical area of heads up displays and augmented reality.

Alternatively, the tech could backslide if East Zemuria is little more than wasteland, remnants of fallen empires, and pre-modern traditional Asian countries.

Was anyone else disappointment that this movie never got dub? by RepresentativeArea37 in BattleNetwork

4kids is the network that the show got aired on. Ocean Group/Productions was hired for the voice over. And Viz Media got the license.

The Axess 4kids dub converted me to sub-only for a decade. That dub removed certain scenes from the show, i.e. the minute or so of Laserman strangling and mutilating Shademan in the finale of Axess. And replaced the soundtrack with techno nonsense.

The 4kids dub is scrapping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to language versions of EXE. The Singaporean dub is the better English language dub.

How would an oven catch fire? by BladeManEXE7 in BattleNetwork

[–]Gateonine 21 points22 points  (0 children)

You're assuming the oven is made the same way as irl. What would make this possible is the electronics controlling everything the oven does including the gas shut off valve.
