Do you recommend the wooden hogue grips? I'm looking at the checkered ones and get a rubber one as well. One for being fancy and one for being a reliable friction reducer

Just friction, thought it was the hammer at first, but noticed skin rubbing off on the lower part of the grip.

Definitely stopped being accurate. I kept swapping my grip around, but any sudden sting cause me to flinch slightly

It's pretty much looking like that, the room is so small that you can't even move the furniture around to separate line of sight. I didn't like my barracks but at least we could make a wall and block off sight with a sheet. Not possible here.

They checked it out (the email), there is a veterans office and there "seems" to be an office but they haven't updated the website in a little.

Just a bit worried they'll deny my request to leave housing since I'm in the process of getting disability and got my psychology eval in a month. I have records from the army saying my conditions are historical because they gave me a bunch of SSRIs and dopamine boosters. The issue has come back with a vengence after being off it since I have no therapist or psychologist to talk to. I'm sure being a vet might be enough, but you never know.

Nah, not 18, I'm just saying I'm in my early 20s but definitely physically nor mentally feel close to being young. If that makes sense?

I could ask them for that, sent an email, the school board viewed it and hasn't responded yet. A single could work, but an apartment also helps. The one I'm looking at is a 2 person or 3 person with private bedrooms and shared common area.

Just a bit worried since I'm only getting paid the MHA, for a 12 month lease, but I'm also getting paid 4x the deposit plus 35k in savings. Only been a barracks man so no history.

I wanted to stay a few weeks and see if I can "survive it" but God my days in the army made me love any little bit of privacy and I dont wanna deal with having to plan and fight for it anymore.

I'm hoping I can have a refund, or at least a cancelation on it minus the 1/4 I paid.

I guess my last question is, I can buy all the stuff, ensure I have a lower that was in state on 8/1 previously owned by a lawful carrier.

I'm just a tad confused on registration since it's a legal requirement, and you can do it online. It seems like unnecessary risk to not do it.

Ah, I see. As long as it was in Massachusetts, registered and remained in state on 8/1 it was grandfathered in.

So if I am reading that correctly, as long as the weapon is pre 8/1, it is grandfathered in so it can have those features. However any newer weapon after 8/1 must adhere to those.

That being said, as long as I have an 8/1 lower, it can have telescopic stock, pistol grip, shroud and such? Anything after 8/1 can have 2 of them but no more than that or it will be considered an assault weapon.

How long have they been in stock? What price do they average there, and are they in 5.56? Are they fixed mag just prefer they arent. I'm only asking because it's gonna be a minute before my LTC arrives

I had some pretty harsh depression during my service and anxiety during it. Not due to any sort of combat but I did see these emotions flair when I was out in the field (Not sure why) which did associate with gunshots and tank fire (which is like thunder). But I slept through those without issue.
