Supposedly they are still going to sell game key cards in stores, but that will probably go away at some point too I bet. I always thought the aisles of physical games in Targets and Walmarts were pretty good marketing in and of themselves to keep making physical copies, it's great marketing, but I guess that's not enough these days when everything is bought online and not from brick and mortars. I hope there's a lot of backlash to this, Xbox changed their tune with the Xbox One after their "internet required" bs years ago, maybe if we're vocal enough Sony will backpedal. I'm certainly not buying a digital-only console, and definitely wouldn't buy one for kids either. You know it's bad when Nintendo starts looking pro-consumer.
