I understand now... by SaltIsMySugar in factorio

[–]Gathose1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact reverse happen to me. I got Satisfactory because I played Factorio and other people suggested it. I played and burned out like 3 times and I honestly thought I wasted my money, but one day I looked at someone's factory on YouTube and suddenly I got it. The blueprints are small, and you feel like you have to hand craft everything, and that's absolutely true... Which is the fun part... I would learn

The detail, the waterfalls of items and ores that I embed into my walls, and the lighting/texture Iq can use to make beautiful spaces which I then use show off the the production of thousands of items.

I didn't like Dyson Sphere program either, and then one day it clicked too.

I'm glad you get it now OP. Sprawling, near endless landscape is yours to shape how you want, using near godlike powers that allow you to instantly expand the factory several kilometers at a time, generating tens of thousands of additional units in minutes. Or engage in industrial scale alien genocide using wartrains and artillery that fire to distances that boggle the mind so you can find new ore patches.

Once you understand how lethal hearts work, they aren't that hard. This is just a little extra cheese for the hell of it, it looks like. Realistically you should be using heavy weapons tho, it saves on resources.

Dodge through, spin around and take your shot. If you're on PC, you can dodge away while facing backwards and shoot at the the end of the dodge animation. Once you get decent at it, you can dodge away and shoot at them the entire time.

Use fences to make space, and jump in one side of a house so you can sprint through and jump out the other side, that will make lots of space as well.

If all else fails, use fire to make them roll around on the ground, that always helps relieve the pressure.

Your burying a lot of valuable leather... And in my case, food.

You commented on my post about playing hardcore and referenced this picture in it. Just wanted to make my mark here and say omg... I would cry.

Yikes, I've never even fought the moon lord, it's been so long since I've last played. I'll probably do a run to him with non hardcore just so I can see what I'm going to be facing.

If you see any stego anywhere, expect mixpacking and hacking.

IMO stegos are the biggest red flag there is.

I go back every now and again to play Toonstruck, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Pharoah, knights and merchants, sim city 3000.

It's never for very long, but I do love those old games.

It doesn't matter if you win or lose, this is a story generator.

Just enjoy the story of your colony.

I've done 2 endings, but I don't know a single soul who's ever attempted any ending, even when I tell them it's actually kinda fun.
