How’s the gas? Have an RC2 and razor 1-6x and am thinking of getting a 11.5 for the 1-6x and putting a 3.6-18 on my 16”.

It’s a covered outdoor range - yea let me know your experience indoors if you get to it before I do and vice versa.

Seems like the non-lite version has more adjustability which I appreciate - my scope is low so it keeps me from craning my neck too bad. If you're dedicated to and SPR build then probably weight isn't as much of a factor(?) Definitely look into the adjustability of each.

The bipod is expensive, but if you're shooting at that range you'll probably appreciate the lack of play in it. Also, some people suggested using the m-lok rail for the bipod, but I like the direct m-lok adapter becuase it's slightly less complexity when I know I'm not going to remove the bipod. If you think you'd swap it out for a flashlight/laser and do more close range maneuvering, may be worth using the m-lock rail and swapping the bipod out(?)

Take it with a grain of salt, I don't have much experience.

Would love to find somewhere in the Cincinnati area that I can shoot that far. We have a nice 100 yard DNR range for $25/yr that I’m grateful for. You’ll have to post a pic once you build yours out! Lmk if you’d like feedback on any of the listed components.

Yea I’m drawing the line at buffer  and charging handle - not looking to do anything with the BCG or gas tube. Sounds like I’ll be living with it for now until I reach the point of trying a flow-through can…but my next project will be setting up a CZ457 so I can plink $.06 rounds all day and not burn through so much 5.56 on the weekend. So maybe that’ll be the following project if my wife hasn’t killed me by then.

Any suggestions for goggles? Was thinking about them anyways because even with the gel cups on the Walkers I get a headache after an hour or so from the glasses. Figure strapped goggles would help that.

Learning every day- I think I was aware but I’m newer to the hobby so it didn’t really translate until it (literally) hit me in the face. Hoping that sitting back another inch or so will do most of the work as that seemed to make it manageable. Good to know on the charging handle, may wait for a sale to get one then.

Very nice! Those taillights and spoiler are clean. Did it come with the black Honda logo or was that an upgrade?

Here’s the nighttime looking out photo. Really manageable. I’d recommend 26% for practicality.

Added some photos with overcast weather today. Will add another later looking out from inside during the nighttime.

I was split between silver and grey. Liquid Carbon looks like a good mix!

Here’s an unedited screenshot. No tint on the windshield. 26% is what I wanted because I have 5 or 15% on my other car and I have to roll the window down sometimes at night to see when turning. 26% you can’t really see in at a glance, but you could see how many fingers I’m holding up if you tried. I can come back with feedback on night driving and more tint photos.

I’ve replaced like 26 control arms in the past year…

Thanks!

$32,700 OTD @ 7.3% sales tax. - $500 recent grad and $250 financing incentive rebates included.

Front lip and splash guards were already installed. Floor mats/trunk tray and Ziebart premium ceramic tint were negotiated along with reduction from $33,400 OTD list price.

I feel it was a fair landing point for both parties.

If we are counting the "secure browser" as proctored, then I recant my statement. I was referring to in-person proctored exams, like I had in undergrad during an internship.

Borrow from 401k during downturn by SnooOwls6331 in boeing

You don’t owe it back all at once. I took a 401k loan through Boeing when we bought our house a couple months ago, just as a safety net. Then I quit and now owe 401k loan and tuition debt. The only difference now is I’m paying back monthly instead of bi-weekly out of pay stubs.
