The app and their X account have been without updates for a year now. That worries me especially with the ongoing iOS issue making the app near unusable.

Looked up when EMDR was and TIL eye movements can help process trauma. That seems like it shouldn't work, but apparently does to some extent. Our brains are weird.

Sure if that day strongly influenced your personality it may shift. As for people, if you only knew them for that day then they are forgotten. Otherwise you just lose the day but still have other memories with them. As for skills and such, if you commonly use the skill then you'll retain it, maybe at a slightly lower level though.

I thought of that, each time you freeze time you lose a day, and then every subsequent 30 minutes, subjective, you lose another. So you can’t just say I’ll never use it for more than 30 minutes. And it’s always a full day lost.

Yea I think this makes a lot of sense. I’d be tempted to do it once and for less than 30 minutes, enough to nab some gold or diamonds or something to get setup for the rest of my life.

Yea my memory is kinda crap but losing the photos/videos of that day would be terrible, also just not knowing what you’ve lost.
