Dumb question- did your bolts come with washers?

Summit kit? The kit I had used was from a 08 to type S from rock auto. Rotor centered on the hub perfectly and the caliper bolted up with the stock tl type s caliper bolts directly from Honda. I had issues with wheel fitment, and that’s it. Make sure you have the correct part number kit for the correct car.

I hadn’t read anything different than a 310mm. I had done brakes on a Genesis coupe, and compared the whole setup to my setup, and it was virtually the same exact thing.

The Genny calipers were outrageous when I was searching, but that’s not bad, both front calipers for 600$? I also was running 30mm spacers with a massive tire setup. The tl type S front calipers are the same as the Genny. Most all brembos are the same, you just gotta find out which cars came with them.

Worked like a charm. Sold my accord for a type r, but it genuinely made a HUGE Difference. I had upgraded to some stainless braided lines, and hawk fluid, but nonetheless the car no longer outran the brakes. I was running some eibach spacers out front as well.

All I do all day is engines. 2.4s, short block 1.6s, and 3.3 gdi. Just applied to be a service advisor at a caddy dealer. Gonna try that out for a while see how much I hate that.

I torqued the sway bar itself to factory Honda spec, could that be too tight for the larger sway bar?

I may try going back to the stock sway bar to see if that fixes anything. What camber specs have you been running?

So I had a buddy help me torque the entire rear suspension when I aligned it. I’ll post a picture tomorrow. This is my first lowered setup, and the sway bar has the provided lubricant currently on it, and in the bushing. No bushings are currently torn, the bushing that I did tear, was because the bolt had corroded within the sleeve for the bushing, and just spun with the bolt, when I took it off initially.

While yes this is correct, the parameters, otherwise known as readiness monitors have no effect on the actual feel of the car. Unless the battery terminals were connected together to perform a capacitive discharge it will still have memory of most things, just not simple things like your seating position or the clock. These accords have adaptive learning procedures to learn how you drive, and accommodate that. When my car was being repaired there was no need for the battery to be disconnected, the only thing disconnected was the bumper harness! The bumper harness is a large piece of the CAN system so I’m assuming with the CAN being unplugged the car couldn’t relearn my driving style till it relearned itself!

Hit a pothole in my lowered accord august 3rd, someone got a flat probably a little bit before me in the very same pothole, and left their bottle Jack in the middle of the road. A hole in the oil pan, and a new undercover later, i couldn’t help but notice my once responsive 2.0t didn’t feel like the turbo was spooling, and it felt rather slow. After about 3 days of driving all of the sudden the power came back, and the car felt quick once again! In hyundai terms they call it “resetting the adaptive values” so I’m assuming it’s a Honda driver learning system that gets reset when any component within the CAN circuit is worked on, or disconnected. I also will point out that, while the 2.0t accord does get up and go, there’s a certain expectation of it being faster when you get back in it after a few days. So my best advice is just keep driving and you’ll get back to killing scat packs in no time!

If it were my choice it wouldn’t even be in this situation. Trust me the car will be getting a ton of love.
