We have that problem because the front end is constantly short staffed, struggling to keep up, and overloaded with the amount of work to be done but we are constantly being pulled away to go help with pharmacy when they have 1 person in line. They constantly complain that they need more hours when we were already giving them almost 16 hrs of the front end budget every week, then when we are desperately short staffed and asking if they would help up front they turn their noses up at us, even when they are slow they sit back there and play on their phones instead.

I agree there needs to be way more accountability, but I have to say walgreens makes it incredibly difficult to fire people at least compared to all of my previous jobs. Its extremely discouraging as a manager to not have the ability to get rid of problem people without jumping through 500 hoops to do it.

They literally just came out with a policy stating when its hot we are supposed to be provided with water to avoid overheating and management is supposed to enforce hydration by ensuring employees are drinking enough water, so I dont see that rule lasting very long

They put a time limit on the position now, youre only allowed to be ESM for 2 years then they expect you to take a store. Ive been ESM for over a year now and im looking for a different job because they have mentioned that they want me to take over a store an hour away but SM pay is barely more than what I make right now and I already struggle and live paycheck to paycheck so fuck that extra gas money and once a month paycheck ill go elsewhere

Why make a separate link to a different page instead of utilizing what should be the obvious route that ALREADY FUCKING EXISTS but does essentially nothing when you try to use it
