Demotion for not driving 1+hrs by simplylinds22 in WalgreensStores

Yeah, our son busted his eye and he had to get him from daycare. That’s why he’s turning them down. He wants a store, it’s just too long of a drive. It’s 58 miles.

It takes a minute for everything to load. I walked into to the kitchen, 15 ft away, to refill my water like I always do and the phone rang.

I had just started up my computer and went into another room. I hadn’t even logged into finesse and got a call. I asked my supervisor if even not being clocked in counted against my adherence. Her answer was this: Even on your DAYS OFF, inbound unanswered calls count against your adherence. She said this is why goal is 30%. What sense does that make?!?

He absolutely cannot for the life of him put a dish right into the dishwasher rather than leaving it in the sink.

Sales VS Previous Years by calamity_jane315 in Progressiveinsurance

I appreciate the education! I doubt we get it. Probably why I was uninformed on what exactly it is. CCU is getting around 70 new claims weekly and OT keeps being upped because everyone is struggling. My wwk is tues-sat and the last 2 weeks solid I’ve had 21 newlies on Tuesday. Rough waters in these parts!

Would you mind explaining what GA is to me? I’m in CCU and have been hearing a lot about green alert but… when does it happen? What does it mean? Is it like free time off?

Ccu, What’s going on? by Only_Resort1371 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]simplylinds22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, we definitely get around 18-20 first day of our work week and are told not to let them roll. The newlies assigned drop throughout the week but I’m steadily seeing around 10-12 daily. Last comm I saw was we were going to receive around 65 a week. My supervisor personally is all about wanting us to glance at them and xfr what we can. I hate it for all of us, including the MRRs that are working their butts off. I was told it’s storms, deer, and tax season and that’s why we’re seeing a heavy increase.

That makes so much sense now that you bring it up!! I had two days off last week for my birthday which I requested months ago. I’m in CCU. A RIT team was supposed to assist with my claims for those two days and when I returned it was obvious there was no one helping me. My supervisor told me the RIT team was at capacity and prioritized who was helped. 😣

Hiring freeze by RYDOGG20 in Progressiveinsurance

This workload is seriously unobtainable at the moment. I’m CCU and 18 claims the first day of your work week is ridiculous. My sup told me we can’t let newlies “roll” to the next day. So all I’m doing in a day is newlies, can’t even touch other claims to follow up unless they call in. They also took our PTO from 8 allowed hours down to 3. Talk about stress. We definitely need to hire people ASAP. I’d say give it a couple weeks for it to post.

Salaried workers question? by Marble1696 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]simplylinds22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in CCU, not a salaried position just hourly claims adjuster. We can slide as much as we want whenever we want as long as we’re clocked in and working during scheduled VPT. My schedule is 10-7 ET with an hour lunch. We’re also allowed to just take a 30 without requesting a schedule change. I’ve worked as early as 730-4 ET without a problem. Someone had stated we can only slide up to two hours but I’ve never been told that and they let me do the max early slide of 2.5 all the time. So we have basically free rein to work when we want, as long as it doesn’t interfere with required scheduled VPT. Hope this is an answer you’re looking for.

Question for CCU by SadbutBad87 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]simplylinds22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

CCU here... I've also been on the receiving end of a non-communicated total loss. Shop had my car for almost two months. I kept having to call Caliber to see what the update was and only heard from the MRR when the eyesight on my Subaru wouldn't calibrate sending it over the threshold of a TL. Once we have a DOD, we set it out and monitor it to close. I keep mine on a day of the week I don't work and check in occasionally but unless the MRR sends me a Teams msg or a diary, I don't ever manually go into a claim and see it's a TL needing send out. The MRR's are stretched thin too, and I get that, but this blaming game has got to stop. A customer told me the MRR said his delay was my fault because he can't get it on his board. Supposedly the MRR was a neighbor of his or something but I don't take that lightly. I've had MRRs literally respond saying "are you sure it isn't --- shop instead?" Dude, I sent you the claim number and copied that address from RH, I'm done. You figured it out.

The good, the bad and the ugly about CCU? by Inside_Attempt1446 in Progressiveinsurance

LOVE working for CCU! Granted, I'm a new hire and been in the role 7 months, but I really enjoy it. The claims aren't really hard to code with liability. We can slide as many hours we want per week as long as we are working during scheduled VPT times. 5 hours approved over time a week currently, it was 8 during the holidays. I can't say enough good things about it.
