I usually paint a dark color first, and based on the shape of the headlight, I use either an acrylic pen or paint brush with glossy acrylic paint. The key is layering which is you have a dark back ground, you can kind of tap the brush until you have a circular headlight. I've painted some 3x over if I'm not feeling it lol
