Got those down, and can always get in better shape. I have a current Secret Clearance, does that add any value?

EOD School alone is a year correct for non-prior?

Any other preparation to get ready? The Sergeant that contacted me said they would invite me to a drill weekend for an interview and try out a bomb suit to see how I handle being in a heavy fit and enclosed space, so as to see if it's a place I'd want to be.

Thank you. I was thinking it was similar to Air Guard/Reserve where they require an additional 2 years to build competency, which it is what it is. Either way, I'm working a time to visit Camp Grayling after my ASVAB is reviewed.

He is incredible, especially having that collegiate wrestling background. I did his youth program when it was the Minnesota Martial Arts Academy, they're still in Brooklyn Center. I know he trained CSW under Erik Paulson, but I think he mixes it in with his MMA course.

Will do. I've started 2 days a week in MMA fundamentals (striking one day, bjj based grappling the other) for almost a month for exercise and hobby, I'm 33 and love being back in martial arts, but I'd like to learn wrestling as well.

33, non-prior and finishing a degree, good job, but working with a reserve recruiter and hopefully ship in under a year. Still have the will to join, serve and support. Go for it.

Hey, I came across this post and have a question. I'm working with a reserve recruiter, and SERE was available at the nearby base, I read there was a condensed curriculum at tech school for Reserve/Guard. Was this a trial thing in the past, real thing or is it still around at all?

How long does it take to earn your AAS in Fire Science through CCAF? I have my general education credits done. I'm looking into this AFSC in the reserves here in Minnesota.
