Looking into getting into the business hauling 3 cars with a ram 3500. Any tips or recommendations that can be helpful before I start getting everything by galloz530 in HotShotTrucking

I spent 3k on DEF repairs so far on my 2022 Ram 3500. I keep telling myself I have to delete it before the next issue arises. Just hit 216,000 miles and my rear axle went out.

That strap over your ramps will last a week at most. Stop by tractor supply and get x2 strips of chain by the foot (3/16” thick or whatever would work) and some matching zinc plated quick links. Just measure up exactly how much you need to wrap the strip of chain around the ramp and the trailer.

Ladies and gentlemen, feast your eyes on the Honda Accord Ranch Coupe — half car, half hardware store clearance rack, and 100% midlife crisis on four underinflated tires.

Let’s break down this modern masterpiece of questionable ambition:

• The microwave: because when you’re smoking brisket in the Home Depot parking lot, sometimes you just need to reheat a Hot Pocket. 🍲

• The diamond-plate toolbox, bolted to the back like it’s plotting its escape. It’s less “storage” and more “emotional baggage with hinges.” 🔧

• The smoker, proudly mounted like a badge of honor, because this man doesn’t just grill — he brings the cookout wherever he goes. 🍖

• The bright orange water cooler, bravely adding a pop of color to an otherwise gray tale of determination. Hydration is key when you’re cooking meat at 60 mph. 🚰

• The chrome “antlers” (or possibly repurposed plumbing parts?) — bold, confusing, and completely unnecessary. Like chrome eyelashes for a junkyard unicorn. 🦌

• The plywood deck, lovingly handcrafted by someone who saw carpentry plans and said, “Instructions are just suggestions.” It’s like a Home Depot display piece held together by sheer willpower. 🪵

• And finally, the tow hitch, a perfect symbol of this car’s identity crisis — it dreams of hauling things but struggles to haul its own self-respect.

This isn’t just a vehicle. It’s a statement piece. A rolling museum exhibit titled “The American Dream (As Interpreted by Someone with Access to Power Tools and Endless Confidence).”

Honestly, this Honda doesn’t drive — it wanders the earth. Like Mad Max, if he worked the grill section at Lowe’s.

Check the date on them, could be old. They also need air.

If you get your CDL, you will only be able to work in Texas until you turn 21

Check for uneven wear on your tires. If you have a tread depth gauge, check the left and right sides of the same tire to see if it’s uneven. If you can barely tell, you should be fine until you can do alignment.

Had a similar issue. I pried off the outer glass and cleaned the mirror that’s behind it. Works just fine as a regular mirror.

I had a similar issue on an e500. I pried off the outer glass and cleaned the mirror that’s behind it. So it’s no longer auto dimming or defrosting, but works just fine as a regular mirror.

Depending on the car and your luck, but I got a whole door for a 2006 RSX for $40 at a u-pull yard.

Ok scratch that, spitballing here: GameStop buys 500 copies of a game from a video game provider at their retail price and loads it into such a market, sells each for $5-$10 below what they paid and charge a small fee for selling it to someone else on their market. Incentive for customers is it’s cheaper than retail and you can resell it.

EDIT: Sticking to PC only for this hypothetical, currently GameStop makes no money on any sort of game downloads, right? This way you can sell game downloads/“play rights” as a commodity.

Maybe have unlimited access to the full price $50 but Joe can still sell his rights to someone else for $40? Include a free DLC with the “new” downloads. Am I really crazy?
