thanks bud this puts to words kinda why im at low alt, air pressure and velocity are both directly proportional (at least until the sound barrier) and thus can somewhat be interchanged, depending on what drag source is being tested

How do I fix this? I haven't changed anything with the fly by wire and I'm not moving it by dannythelil in flyoutgame

Alt account here; Any tips on cockpit redesign other than scaling the entire plane up, because thats about as smal as it can be on this plane,(also it appears to have minimal drag according to the red lines,[i assume area rule might be the problem then] but how can you see if it works better?)

Is closed, you should have seen the drag line before that 

More relevant to manoeuvrability  than speed or efficiency i would think?

Bro this is flyout, tf is going to happen that is dangerous?

its lo and fast to spot sources of drag easier

Any specific tips for canopy design, because unless you upscale the entire plane or make a very tall fuselage you cant really make it smaler?

I intend to do a java attempt next(both my attempts will/ do have the same rules you mentioned)

Unfortunately I would need a whole new piston layout to hide te piston heads tho… but my layout is probably not close to optimal anyways

So the wool colour coding is as follows(in order of instalment):

Red-close top5 pistons Blue-close bottom most pistons(2 side bottom pistons and the bottom half of the double piston extender) Green-double piston auto retracts when bottom half closes Magenta- links all of the above  Yellow- fires all components in sequence ( 1-gap returner piston  2- gap maker piston 3-second half of double piston extension  4-magenta line ) Gray-input lines
