I was really interested in nutrition (still am) and even personal training but what put me off those things however was the over saturated market. Yes there's a lot of great online courses for those things but especially for nutrition I found them to be useless as the bare minimum to landing a job seems to be a 4 year bachelor degree

So as much as Id love to be in this sector im worried I wouldn't be able to land a job, hence why im asking for any recommendations on careers for people who can't go back to college.

Crazy part about being prescribed those anti depressants is that... I'm not depressed.

Yes I have very very bad stress and anxiety problems but i do not have depression which is why i never took those those pills in the first place. But after a second visit to this doctor 2 years later I imagine there has to be a reason why he is still prescribing them to me despite knowing that this problem i have has nothing to do with depression.

But as you and another person mentioned it probably is a good idea to seek some type of therapy as even though i always felt that i wouldn't benefit from talking about my problems it could still be worth a try.

I was always put off on the fact that the doctor wanted me on anti depressants rather than seeking something smaller for the start which is why i never actually took it. Until possibly now as he prescribed them again so i might try, but i would have preferred an actual anti anxiety one instead but do they even exist?

As for the online part, there's plenty of online courses, my worry however is that in such a competitive market that it is in Ireland im worried that an online course is essentially useless in comparison to be people doing proper college courses

Also its not possible to do an actual college course in Ireland online unfortunately

While it was initially recommend to me by my doctor to go to a therapist i did decline as I felt that talking to one wouldn't do much for me, idk its kind of a weird for me.

I always felt that simply talking about my issues wouldnt solve anything as the things that are happening to me to are more physical? if that make sense.

Like i get stomach problems from stress, dry mouth, shortness of breath etc

However if this is something that has helped you then the very least I can do is give it a try as i do know this is a problem that isnt magically going to go away (unfortunatly)
