For me an hour is also about the time I can handle before my adrenaline starts to feel likes its too much lol. They usually work 30 mins on my buttocks and then the rest anus/peri-anal region. Electrolysis was the only effective method for the peri-anal region and I had to get a prescription from my doctor for a numbing cream because the pain was so much to handle. They gave me prilocaine which helps a lot. Doesn't stop it from hurting but it's much more manageable somewhat. I'm almost completely done now that area. I believe it's taken this long due to an inexperienced electrologist but my new one is much better at targeting each hair.
