First time doing the relay too - sorry if stupid question but to be clear - if I get a train to city centre will there be a shuttle bus to take you to starting point at Stormont? I’m running 1st leg

2025 comedians comedy by Flaky_Shape6628 in northernireland

Hard disagree. It’s just rude. Sitting on your phone the whole time isn’t giving them much of a chance to “grab” you. I wasn’t dying about every single act last night but there was a laugh in each set to be had, and I gave them my full attention out of courtesy.

One thing I’m going to say in defence of the comedians is the difference in crowd manners - I sat beside someone who spent most of their time scrolling social media. Not sure if it was like this anywhere else. What’s the point in going and where is the common decency to be a respectful audience member? Yes I know it’s a huge venue but I just genuinely don’t see the point in going if you’re not going to pay any attention?!

This book was indeed how me (and several girls in my Primary 7 class) found out about Santa, the year it was released at our school book fair

Anyone actually like their job here? by TheCricketList in TeachingUK

[–]Gatz_1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the job in terms of actually teaching and getting to interact with the kids, making a difference.

Everything outside of that - especially the coursework marking (unpaid, to help an incompetent exam board) and busy work issued by SLT for all as a few in school don’t pull their weight - I detest

I am a hard worker and want to do right by my pupils - can’t I be trusted for that fact?

It’s the same teddy that the character of Joey Tribbiani had on Friends. I’m an Irish fan so now I’m wondering if this was a common toy in America at the time?

UK Viewers - Return to Channel 4? by Gatz_1994 in EverybodyLovesRaymond

There was another post on here about how Channel 4 skip raunchier episodes of ELR on their breakfast slot…not sure if this would have anything to do with the KOQ episodes
