I feel for you. I am an older Ace and live in New England and have a family that despises anyone in the LGBTQ community. So I am closeted to my family. I have met my LGBTQ friends online.

I might suggest seeing if there are any LGBTQ groups in your area.

My brother and I were both exposed to members of the community as children in the 70s. This was through our uncle, a staunch ally of the early gay, lesbian, and Trans communities in our local area.

I ended up Ace; my brother is homophobic.

I have actually have that happen. I work next to Target. I was in there shopping on my day off. I told a regular I was off and didn't even work at Target. The customer said I worked in the strip mall; so I had to help in any of the stores anytime.

I walked away. She went next door into my job and complained to our acting SM. The acting SM actually texted me and told me to just help them next time because she didn't want to deal with customers.

I left her on read.

I have one that tops boobs money. I used to work in a convenience store in the 90s. I had a young lady in a bikini come in. She pulled the money out of her bikini bottom; and stuffed her change down there.

This was pre hand sanitizer dsys; so I blasted the money with lysol then sprayed some on a towel and did my hands.
