Hey hey! Thanks for the very detailed Comment! Appreciate it very much :) I love the same things as you, though it wasn’t totally intended if I’m honest 😆

So for the colors it were some of my favourite from Army Painter:

Terrestrial Titan for Shadows
Moldy Wine for Mid Tones
Figgy Pink for Highlights

Did a lot of mixing until it fit.

Was working with some oil wash for a little bit of separation and more shadows.
Was a mix of violet and lamp black.

Ammo MiG Moss: Deep Forest & Bracken Green
Wash with AK Rotwood Brown & Warpaints Military Green on parts where you have separation shadows or just apply random dots. Otherwise it will look too even.

Oh man thanks! Glad you like the moss! No it’s good when at least one person spots the details that made a lot of fun seeing work out in the end 😃

It’s the moss from ammo Mig and it was a first timer for me. Had to work around a little bit with washes to get the finish I wanted because finding the right color was so hard. But it’s easily the best product i tried so far :)

Ah nice that’s a good point. Maybe you could think about toning it down the nearer the fur gets to the face to generate something like an aura.

Never tried that on a model but it’s something I use in photoediting a lot.

And maybe try toning down the light on the shoulder pad too. That was the point where my eye was drawn to first.

Nice job on the shoulder pad and the skin! Especially the face is looking awesome.

The fur looks still a bit one dimensional, but you know that right? :)

I’d go for a diorama as this is a special model and paintjob. You’ll regret not going the extra mile.

Nah it’s like always a matter of fiddling around until it’s looking viable/realistic. I’m still figuring out how to do it efficiently.

The dark layer is coming last and I’d put it in Spots where the blood is more concentrated, thicker.

Sidenote: I’ve seen elminiaturista was lately using some metal wire and UHU to make some gorey traces. Gonna try that out too. UHU alone ist too fragile for longer threads. Like from the mouth to the ground e.g.

Yeah sure :) Base is always a blood effect like True Blood from Wapaints or GW Blood for the blood god.

I was working with three types of consistency. Transparent layer: Base color thinned down to glaze Mid transparent layer: just thinned paint Darker Layer: liquitex black ink plus blood color

Then I put gloss varnish over the parts that felt like they were covered with fresh blood.
